Gravy, a bold new Australian absurdist play, explores the raw, complex dynamics of a mother-daughter relationship. Trapped in a single, waterlogged room with only a bathtub and each other’s company, Trisha and Mummy confront themes of body image, love, and existential dread, under the oppressive gaze of the "Ever-Watching" Man.

The debut play by Gemma Burwell, Gravy reinvigorates absurdism by spotlighting female and gender non-conforming voices in a genre traditionally dominated by male perspectives.

Directed by Saša Ljubovic; with Meg Hyeronimus and Deborah Jones
